Preschool Open House

Tonight Kolbe got to meet his new preschool teachers, Miss Susan and Miss Anita. The classroom was full of inviting toys and games and he immediately got busy playing. He enjoyed having free time on the computer. Here at home he is closely monitored due to mom not wanting email to get deleted or important documents mysteriously erased. Kolbe had 2 mini conversations with his classmates, but from the looks of it, there was not too much communication happening at this young age. A few of the kids were in preschool together last year so already knew each other. Kolbe of course is one of the youngest in his class.
I was pretty impressed at how easily he got comfortable in the room. He didn't seem intimidated by the large amount of people or the new surroundings. Mom got to meet some other parents. Two of the dads there went to Miege. The little girl we met at the dentist's office is in Kolbe's class.
Say a little prayer that our first day of school, next Monday goes well. Jeff and I decided to use a drop and go tactic vs the stay and linger approach. We'll see what happens.
