Wonderful Day!

Other than Janelle having to go back to Texas, today has been a wonderful day. We went to the park early this morning and fed the ducks. Yes, it seems like we do this all of the time, but the kids enjoy it, and it's nice to get out, especially early in the morning when the ducks are hungry and before it gets too hot. We met up with Tanya et al and the kids played in the sand and on the jungle gyms.
Both Kolbe and Libby were complimented today, so you know what that means...something special! :) A woman was with her husband and complimented Kolbe on what a well-mannered young man he was. He was following directions very well this morning and she noticed. It is so nice when adults observe good behavior and take the time to tell children, and their parents, that it did not go unnoticed. Libby was having a wonderful time playing in the sand pile. She was thoroughly enjoying herself and one of the other moms commented on what a happy and content baby she was. You know you love your kids and are proud of them and it is special when others enjoy their company too.
By the way, if anyone is interested, while at the kiddie pool yesterday, one of the moms, who is a photographer, asked if she could take some shots of Libby splashing and playing in the water.
